Love

The basic driver that makes us want to work, to develop, to overcome obstacles, to commit, to take responsibility, to do good for everyone. To love the city is to love the people who make the city.

People love their cities in different ways, and might love certain aspects of cities more than other. For us, a love for the city is in practice acknowledgement and recognition of the existing. Thus, when accompanying processes aiming for change we need to involve communities and stakeholders in all aspects of change – from identifying the current areas of conflict and potential to building bold future scenarios.

Urban Practice works with the people making the city by designing tools for co-creation and engagement through gamification and education, and by mapping both physical and social infrastructure – always searching for ways to enable more inclusion in the urban realm.
