About us

Our journey began in 2008 with our first media and communications agency egnahem media. We worked as media producers, content creators, and creative professionals and specialised in topics concerning urbanism, housing and society. Our media work lead to event productions on the ground in cities which inspired us to deepen our understanding of urban change.

We started our company Urban Practice to communicate our focus and our passion. Urban Practice works in the city, with the city.

We are company of two. As project managers we have been leading event and media productions with 30 strong multidisciplinary teams as well as processes with small and tight units. Always looking for agility, productivity and quality, our company is committed to finding the right people for the right project.

We are happy to have worked with and learn from numerous academics, activists and professionals in urbanism, public participation, design, architecture and media production in Finland and abroad.
